I paid to have a letter with a payment sent overnight to a contractor. It was to be delivered by 6 pm the next day. I had a tracking number so at 6 pm I checked to make sure it arrived. The letter had not been delivered and it was somewhere in transit. I called the number on by receipt thinking I could see when it would be delivered. The automated system for this United States postal service was a terrible experience so I finally held for service representative. Truly the only information she could give is that she is sorry it did not arrive. She could not tell me where the letter is or when it might arrive, saying maybe the next or so but probably not even that night. Awful! She told me I could request to have someone from the a post office call me. “Ok, I thought . Someone will call and can tell me where my letter is and when the payment will be delivered to the contractor.” I said this to the lady and she said that this other person would call in 2 to 3 daubs. Unbelievable. Worse service I had ever had, and this is our US Postal Service. What a disappointment! Of course. I get a refund since it did not arrive as promised but I wanted it there on time or I would not have paid the $26.35 in the first place. Awful, awful review for this service!!!!
