The manager at the North Tonawanda, NY (14120) post office is one of the rudest form of management I've ever encountered. (I wish I knew her name) My son was working out of state and I would send him care packages overnight mail. Overnight! It would never get there the next day! I paid $40 for the overnight package. I went back to her the first time it happened and she didn't care at all! It meant everything to me and nothing to her. When I got upset she got loud and rude, as if she owned the place! I'm not kidding! She let me know she has worked there for 9 years (I don't remember the number) and said she doesn't make mistakes! I told her SHE was the one who handled my package. She said I had to wait 30 days for a credit , wouldn't tell me where my package was and told me if I had a problem I could come in Saturday and talk to her postmaster (as if she knew she wouldn't get in trouble). I went in Saturday and sure enough, no one cares. The next 4 packages never made it overnight, 2 or 3 would then 5 wouldn't. I went back each time so mad but I was helpless! She almost laughed at me but made sure she made rude, unprofessional comments to me. She does not need to be in that position! I drove to another post office (14150) and had the best service! The woman at the desk let me know she has been at the post office a long time and what happened to me was unacceptable. She never said anything negative about the supervisor or the Post Office. That's what I would expect. She apologized and made it right. I began going to that post office every single week and had zero problems from that day forward. The woman at 14150 gets 5 stars. The other woman at 14120 gets zero. I told her I was going to to to UPS. She told me to go. I kept going to the post office because I know they are struggling. One bad apple is going to lose so much business it makes me heart sick for the post office. I'm glad I stuck it out. 14150 has an angel there. I ran in late one day and she filled out my slip for me to help get it out. What a doll! I hope this review is read and both women and dealt with accordingly. Fire the first one and give the other a raise. At least make sure the first one doesn't work with customers. Everyone in line with me said the same thing!
