If I could give zero stars, I would! My husband ordered a very expensive pair of earrings for me for Christmas, which required a signature for delivery. They didn't arrive the day that they were supposed to, so the next day I checked the tracking and it showed that it was delivered on time and my husband signed for it. Well, my husband was at work at the time it was supposedly signed for and no one was home at my house, can prove that through my alarm company. So either the mailman stole it or he signed my husband's name and left it in the mailbox and it was stolen. Either way, the mailman committed a felony! I called the Office of the Inspector General, explained the situation, was given a claim number and was told I would be contacted within 3 business days. I was never contacted so I called back about 10 days later, was told to call Consumer Affairs department for my local post office. I did and the explanation that I got was someone must've been standing outside my house and signed for it, even though all my other mail was in the mailbox, including a package from China! So, the"thief" knew just to take the very expensive package and leave everything else in the mailbox!! I believe it is far more likely that the mailman took it, but it I is now out of my hands, as the merchant had my husband sign an affidavit and is going to deal with the post office on their end, as well as send another pair of earrings, maybe I'll get them in time fir Valentine's Day!
