On Thursday I was motioned to the counter by the post office teller on this receipt. And was humiliated. She asked me how did I want my package sent and as I say do the tellers always jokingly “on a slow boat to China “ and we would just get a kick out of it. She then said to me, obviously upset, “how would I feel if a Chinese was in line and heard me (I only very quietly said this to her). She then said to me “what if I said on a slow boat to Africa?”. I told her I had no intention of saying that. I said what I said was a figure of speech. At first I thought she was joking but when I realized she wasn’t I just walked away. I have never experienced anything like this and I visit this site quite often! At first I decided not to use that site again and just do my business otherwise. But no I will continue there. I taught customer service for 15 years to flight attendants before retirement in 1991. Usually everyone at this post office has been courteous, personable and professional. Not like most people it is not my manner to send complaints but always find the good in public servants because customers are not always pleasant. I pray for this person. Thank you
