Canada Post review by Cecile Pelletier

Sent a parcel to Goderich Ontario from Sudbury Ontario unfortunately was advised parcel coyld not be delivered because nobody was there. The building it was to be delivered was Maitland Manor. It is a long term care home opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a week. Beleive you me, there is ALWAYS someone there! A notice was left at the door for the package to be picjed up at a Rexall drug store.....big problem with that...the recipient is a resident who is unable to leave the premises because he is too ill. I, his wife, lives 6 1/2 hours away. Not an oprion for me to go pick it up. By the grace of God, an office personnel took her lunch hour and retrieved the package. I am so grateful to her because enclosed in the package were my husband's reading glasses. I find this TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I paid $20.48 dollars for your services and I am most unsatisfied. To me, this is terrible service. Of course, when I was notified that delivery wasn't possible, I telephoned and spoke with a very kinf gentlemen named: Tyler. Confirmation number: 137095897. My issue wasn't resolved and he politely advised me that a supervisor would contact me by the 17 th of August. Unbelievable. With this lack of service, I hesitate to use Canada Post in the futur. Rest assured that I am not a happy client and would like to seak with a supervisor to discuss te matter personally. I can be reached at 226-377-7749.
