Canada Post lost my package and then refused to compensate me for my items. When I complained the representative told me it was my responsibility to go on Canada Post website and look into insurance for my package and purchase the insurance in order for Canada Post to compensate me. I find this to be very rediculous. Instead of the customer having to do their own research, how about training your staff to give all relevant information to the customer. I personally would not recommend Canada Post. I prefer to ship with another company. This is poor customer service.

Sent a package from Vancouver to Toronto last on 15 Aug. just checked status today and the package is still in Vancouver. Pretty slow. If this is Express Mail, I can imagine the delay for a regular mail.

Canada post is great packages usually come on time or even earlier then expected. Delays and cutoffs are the worst though and we don’t give enough credit to Canada post and the great work they do to deliver us our mail on time .
