I buy things online 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I buy almost everything online and I always avoid Canada Post when possible. If anything can go wrong, it always does. Customer service is trained to lie about not having specific depot numbers. I know this for certain as I've had them tell me the depot I need doesn't have a single phone in it, only to have my mailman give me the exact depots direct number so I can straighten everything out MYSELF. I don't get paid to do my own investigation. They do. So why am I the one solving their problems over the phone? Completely incompetent and I've even had a $800+ package just "disappear" despite being the size of a midget in a box. Just insane story after story. And all my own stories. Likely hundreds of thousands more just like mine and worse. USE ANY COURIER BUT CANADA POST. THEY ARE THE GUTTER!

Sent a package from Vancouver to Toronto last on 15 Aug. just checked status today and the package is still in Vancouver. Pretty slow. If this is Express Mail, I can imagine the delay for a regular mail.

Canada post is great packages usually come on time or even earlier then expected. Delays and cutoffs are the worst though and we don’t give enough credit to Canada post and the great work they do to deliver us our mail on time .
