I mailed a registered mail envelope to the Commonwealth of Dominica and tracked the package. I called my friend and Dominica to tell her that the tracking said the document should be with her in three days. Later that same day and knock on my door, the mailman said, please sign here my document had been returned to me, and the explanation was suspension of postal service to that country. The notice said I could send it free once Postal Service is resumed. I could not get a refund. I called customer service and they were very good and told me they had made a mistake. I am to receive a check in the mail for postage spent and I had to repost the document. I have my fingers crossed that this package does not come back to me and I end up in a loop. So i pay canada post extra money for exspress delivery but its late and hasnt shown up as promised so why is it i dont get a refund sonce the delivery was Not delivered on time

Sent a package from Vancouver to Toronto last on 15 Aug. just checked status today and the package is still in Vancouver. Pretty slow. If this is Express Mail, I can imagine the delay for a regular mail.

Canada post is great packages usually come on time or even earlier then expected. Delays and cutoffs are the worst though and we don’t give enough credit to Canada post and the great work they do to deliver us our mail on time .
