Canada Post reviews

On Monday, May 20th, I sent a small package to Hungary. Each day I tracked it and on Sat. 25th it had arrived in Budapest, Hungary. It is now in customs there. I am writing this because it is often the reason packages get delayed. It is not the fault of Canada Post which is excellent in its tracking service. I'll inform you all when it is delivered to an address about 2 hours drive away from Buda.

I am so Impressed with the customer service experience from Canada post. They under promise and over deliver. They have superceded my expectations. I will never use any other delivery service because canada post is reliable and safe. Thank you Canada Post for delivering over the top customer service experience. God bless you always. continued poor slow unreliable service. I WAIT every week by the door the day I expect our carrier. HE often comes to the door with a Sorry We Missed you notice instead of the actual parcel. WE caught him in the act several times and he claims he doesn't like dogs so didn't want to knock on my door for home delivery paid service INSTEAD OUR carrier breaks the terms I have paid for which is signed delivery for over w years I have had to drive to the nearest Can Post pick up location and wait at least 30 min in a line (can post just has Shoppers employees come run their booth as Can post is chronically understaffed undertrained and wait times are atrocious. THIS time I have confirmed that the Cam Post website states my parcel tracking 4005403491083706 was taken to the closest pick up May 15. TODAY IS May 26 2024 and I haven't even received a parcel pick up notice..let alone a knock on the door of the home I did not leave waiting for delivery that never happened

On May17 I mailed some small items in a bubble mailer envelope via Expedited Post from central B.C. to an address in Michigan USA. and it cost me over $40.00, including the envelope. I was given two choices, Expedited or Priority. I was told Expedited would take approximately 8 days so I chose that as it was the least expensive option and I thought the time frame was reasonable. When I tracked it week later it was still in Richmond BC and yesterday and today it shows me that it's sitting at Los Angeles airport! No wonder I was charged an Internationl fuel supplement fee of $5.21 if it's taking such a roundabout route! I'm not very impressed.......

We are now more than a week into what I was told would be a four business day delivery. And when I tracked the package on the day it was supposed to be delivered, the tracking service said the package was in Victoria, which makes sense, given that its destination is one of the Gulf Islands, but now Canada Post's tracking service says the package is in Richmond, BC, which makes little or no sense. So, two questions: 1) Why has the package gone back to Richmond, BC from Victoria? 2) What has happened with Canada Post's standards of service, which state that the package would be delivered in three to four business days? and 3) Has Canada Post once again lost a package that I have trusted them to deliver? Feh.

I respect post office work, and believe they work hard. Last time I paid for an overseas register document with a sign-back notification mailing back to me, but no sign-back notification happened. This time I mailed a local register letter, hard to believed that the mail got received next day. Appreciated.

Have been using Canada Post for parcel delivery many years. Now I always use the cheaper ground post, don't generally get insurance, always use tracking number. I have never had a long delivery time, or major issues. It's all rather pricey, a gas surcharge whether gas is high or low. I have always had terrific service in Nova Scotia. Have yet to meet a "lazy" employee or an employee who gave me less than great service. I rarely use the mail, mostly to send a card, but internet cards and greetings are more common for me to keep in touch... I was surprised to see so many negative reviews, hoping the majority are happy, just not leaving a review.

I always find Canada Post reliable. Definitely better than some others.

But even you give a bad experience or review on their service they still don’t care, coz the lazy employees they do t read reviews and still doing the same shit everyday. #wortsservice

PAID FOR SPEEDY DELIVERY. AND NO UPDATED .RIPE OFF

I ship over 50 orders a month. Can't believe how they always get the package to clients on time and never damaged... been using them since 2007 and have had 4 claims..3 of them were a Day or two late other was lost in Canada Post Wearhouse They paid me the insurance and 2 weeks later they found my package and returned it to me...ya gotta be challenged to use any other Courrier..and I have tried all the other big names...I'm currently waiting on UPS to deliver a package to me and it's 2 days late after they sent notification that I'd receive it Thursday...I told my supplier to use CP..BUT HE IS "CHALLENGED"

This is the worst letter carrier company, inlay yesterday $38 for express parcel, the staff told me it will be 24 hours then I check it online with tracking number it says 4 days. Is not worth paying all lazy employee. Unprofessional and unethical service.

waiting for a parcel... they give me wrong pickup location. no one knows what I am talking about. go online to use CANADA POST TRACKING... they send me to a street corner ... no post office... no mail box... just asphalt and cement. 4 days to go before 15 day hold terminates.

I never even got my items of a 400 $ worth of things and it says it was dilivered id give a -5 start if i had the choise
